The Equity & Deferred Compensation Senior Analyst applies Deferred Compensation knowledge, contributing the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area.
The individual will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues primarily focused on deferred compensation with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Work and performance of the team will be directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Assist with execution of regulatory compensation processes including 'buyout' process for new joiners
Become a subject matter expert in their field and use expertise to run meetings with vendors as well as internal groups such as Finance, Tax, and Payroll.
Partners with Payroll, Tax, Legal and Finance to ensure proper reporting of plan activity, and compliance with current legislation.
Ensure compliance with program provisions and legal and tax regulations. Review and reconcile all data to ensure accuracy.
Act as subject matter expert on the vesting process for equity compensation initiatives and projects, including the development, testing and implementation of a new equity administration system.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Compensation /HR experience preferable
Spanish language preferable
