We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Designer and Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly website and VLE for students, as well as ensuring the functionality and efficiency of web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the latest web design trends and development tools, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with staff members to determine project requirements and translate them into functional, responsive web designs.
Optimize website for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
Ensure that all websites and applications are cross-browser and cross-device compatible.
Utilize Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal to create and manage website content.
Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to improve website visibility and ranking on search engines.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and other technical problems.
Maintain and update existing websites and applications as required.
Stay current with the latest web design and development trends, tools, and technologies.
Provide training and support to clients and team members on the use and maintenance of websites and web applications.
A minimum of an intermediate level education in Computer Science and also certifications of Web Design, Web Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP development languages.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design approach.
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or Materialize.
Familiarity with server-side languages like PHP.
Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks like jQuery, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
