This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

You will work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents at all times. You will support our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
You will be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records, as well as keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required.
You will be promoting our resident's choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly.

A good reason or experience that has drawn you to working in a care setting.
Minimum of one year experience in residential / nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia.
Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
Full Driving Licence.
To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
Two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
One year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care or above.
