  • Model the proposed system on a suitable software platform, such as Amtech Prodesign, to ensure the correct system performance, and for the purpose of equipment sizing and specification.
  • Ensure that the network is correctly protected and coordinated.
  • Present the engineering options to internal stake holders and customers in order to gain agreement and progress to the next design stage.
  • Create the necessary documents and reports to articulate the proposed design and it’s benefits to the Customer.
  • Create equipment procurement specifications in order to engage the supply chain and obtain vendor offers for the required equipment. Working with the Sourcing team review the offers and determine the best technical solution.
  • Develop the proposal into a practical solution and supervise the creation of the design and installation integration drawings and other documents.
  • Work with the mechanical, electrical and civil designers to integrate the auxiliary system design in to the overall solution and ensure that the necessary provision is made and interfaces are managed.
  • Engage with the Customer, as required, to articulate the proposed design and answer questions or queries that may be raised.
  • Working with the installation and commissioning team, develop a testing regime to ensure that the system meets it’s functional and legislative obligations.
