iOS Engineer - Contract - Outside IR35

Our client is a mobile-first consumer finance business, operating a digital credit card and working in partnership with leading consumer brands in the UK s. We need to deliver a significant backlog of changes consisting of varied and interesting activities for a business that is shaking up the consumer finance industry.

You will join our Technology team, working in agile squads with passionate colleagues, to provide best-in-class technical solutions for our iOS mobile app in a fast-paced environment.

Role requirements Any candidate for this role:

• Must have

o An appetite to learn and a desire to deliver software of the highest quality

o A proactive mindset to take an active role in shaping the architecture and driving the project forwards with new technologies and best practises

o Experience working in an agile team using practices such as pairing and code reviews

o Experience developing consumer facing iOS applications using UIKit-based Swift

o An understanding of design patterns, SOLID and clean code principles

o The ability to write unit tests with a good understanding of mocking dependencies

o Experience using dependency managers such as Cocoapods and SPM

o Familiarity with using fastlane to automate common operations

o Familiarity with investigating crash reports, fixing bugs and performance analysis

o Worked with project management, source control and CI tools, e.g. Jira, Git and Bitrise • Might have o Experience with MVVM architecture, SwiftUI, Combine, Realm and XCUI

o Experience in delivering the highest standard of support for users who rely on accessibility features

o Experience managing apps in the Apple developer console and App Store Connect

o Worked with design applications such as Sketch or Figma

o Any experience with other front-end platforms such as Android or Web (Angular)
