Denholm are delighted to be working with one of the Scotland’s leading PR, public affairs, digital and design agencies who are currently on the lookout for a new PR Account Manager to own client relationships, represent the business at events, and be hands-on with the work itself. You’ll be go-getting yet personable and able to build relationships with clients and media alike, coming to the table with a strong work ethic and bags of enthusiasm for the sector you’ll be operating in.

For this position, that will include strategic leadership on client accounts such as planning projects for housebuilders/renewable energy, trade bodies, and third sector organisations.

Managing client relationships, ensuring they receive structured and strategic communications advice and support.
Coordinating web design and brand development.
Community engagement planning, attendance, and management.
Confidently leading and managing multi-client portfolios spanning different policy sectors on budget and on time.
Writing copy for opinion pieces to be shared on social/traditional media, drafting media and policy copy, public affairs strategies and policy briefings.

5 years Public Relations experience
~ Experience working in close consultation with clients to plan and implement communication strategies on their behalf.
~ Genuine interest in daily media and political monitoring and background research.
~ Confident in actively participating in new client pitches to secure new business and representing the company at events and conferences.
~ Strong communication skills.
