Our national client is looking to recruit a field service engineer (based from home) to cover predominantly the Milton Keynes/East Midlands area of England. You will be responsible for the repair/maintenance of our client's products.

Job Role:-

* Maintenance and repair of range of compact road sweepers, truck mount sweepers, spreaders, airport support equipment and mowing equipment in an efficient and high-quality manner

* Complete vehicle warranty work as required

* Ensure all administration is completed accurately and submitted on time; to include job sheets (printed and signed) additional work forms and parts requests and all warranty documentation.

* Ensure efficient management and coordination of work issued by the Service Desk

* Carry out courtesy visits to customers when required.

* Timely and accurate ordering of parts via the service desk.

* Be part of an out of hours call out rota.

* To maintain exemplary customer support offer flexibility on working hours

Candidate profile:-

* Candidates would ideally be from within or have experience of the industry or be from an allied discipline such as Heavy Plant Engineering, LGV engineering, Agricultural Engineering; Materials Handling equipment Engineering or the automotive industry.

* An ability to demonstrate a thorough practical and theoretical understanding of the repair and maintenance of IC engines, hydraulic systems and auto-electrical systems.

* Experience of carrying out repairs to a technical level on high-value capital products.

This is a great opportunity to join an international business. A van and all relevant tools and equipment are provided for this role. Overtime is payable for any additional hours worked over 40 hours per week. Ideally you will have a HGV License however they will put you through training if needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
