Applications are invited for the post of Finance Assistant, within the HQ Finance Division, Management Accounts based at Hutton Headquarters.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled individual to join the Management Accounting Team. You will support the day to day provision of all financial support functions, in relation to the Management Accounting Team.
This role will support the Finance Business Partner to provide high quality financial management information and customer focused financial support.
You will have problem solving skills, who pays attention to detail and the have the ability to become familiar with new information. Good Excel skills are essential for this role.
As a key business link between various departments within Finance it is essential you are an excellent communicator.
Job description and main responsibilities
Your main tasks will include maintaining the accuracy of the ledger including prepayments, general accruals and other relevant journal entries, profiling budgets, producing budget holder and other ad hoc reports. You will also support the accountant in budget variance analysis and attending budget holder meetings.
Qualification & Knowledge
A Levels or equivalent
Part AAT qualified (level 2) or equivalent with experience.
Good knowledge of Accounting Principles
Experience in Microsoft Software
Oracle System (not essential)
