Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role also involves providing operational line management and supervision to nursing staff.
You will be required to develop pathways for service users that require treatment for needs related to mental health and addiction and to oversee vaccination schemed and offer advice on blood borne viruses and create partnerships with stakeholders and advocate for CGL clinical services to commissioners and health and wellbeing boards and provide relevant information from senior operational and clinical management teams to your staff.
Delivering a Quality Service:
You will participate in clinical audits and contribute to the service's overall performance to meet contractual targets and adhere to national guidance and CQC standards and ensure clinical services uphold best practices and constantly review procedures for effective evidence-based practices.
You will be responsible for managing clinical aspects of new developments within the service and provide line management and clinical supervision to developing nursing staff, attend and arrange relevant clinical advisory groups with partnerships and carry out training to staff and external services.
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You must have a vast amount of experience as a substance misuse nurse with preferably management skills.
