Paralegal Investment Management Private Credit Markets

Our client is a leading Global Investment Management firm specialising in the Private Credit sector

They are seeking a paralegal to join a busy and expanding legal team to cover a wide range of duties including transactional work, funds work, general commercial and NDA’s etc

The Role

  • Sitting within the Legal Team supporting all business units across a wide range of legal matters:
  • Transactions
  • General Commercial Matters
  • NDAs
  • Assisting with Signings and post completion tasks
  • General corporate and commercial legal advice including drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and terms of engagement
  • Liaising with external legal providers and other service providers including fund administrators, custodians, contract counterparties

Candidate Profile

  • Strong Academic Background
  • Law Degree / LPC an advantage
  • Prior Paralegal experience within a law firm or investment management firm or in-house within financial services
  • High level of IT literacy
  • Effective communicator to all members of staff including lawyers, PAs, partners
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a number of concurrent tasks effectively and able to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to take on new and challenging tasks
  • Critical thinking and apply sound business judgement

Working policy

4 days per week in the office 1 day from home
