Job Title: Management Accountant Team: Finance Job Location: Mallusk Greenview Group Established in 2017, Greenview Group is a provider of mechanical and electrical installation, heating installation and servicing, property maintenance and improvements as well as a range of sustainable energy solutions, including domestic energy efficiency services.
Under new ownership by the private equity company, Mutares, the Group is targeting significant organic and inorganic growth with an ambition to exceed EUR 100m revenue by 2026.
Greenview Group operates from four different offices across Belfast, Northern Ireland, and London, UK, which enable direct access to a strong customer base, including several companies in the commercial and residential public and private sector, serviced via its fleet of around 100 vehicles.
Thanks to the groups comprehensive industry knowledge and broad range of services, Greenview Group has a strong relationship with government-backed, blue-chip customers as well as major private contractors.
Due to the continued growth and internal changes, we are recruiting for a Management Accountant to oversee the Finance function of two of our Group Companies BI Electrical Services and Bel-Air Services.
The successful candidate will report into the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Senior Management Team Key Responsibilities Responsibilities for Management Accountant: Monthly management accounts preparation including full reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts Monitoring and reporting on job performance Responsible for daily bank administration including bank reconciliations for company bank accounts and cash flow forecasting Administration of UK and ROI VAT / CIS including returns Financial Accounting activity including journal entries, Profit and Loss Account reconciliations and financial analysis Preparation of year-end audit files and liaising with external auditors Job costing analysis and WIP reporting Preparation of monthly sales reports and customer profitability analysis Responsible for the weekly / monthly creditor payment process.
Development and recommend / implement process improvements Preparation of government statistical returns Budget administration Development of company templates using advanced MS Excel formula Manage a finance team to meet monthly deadlines.
Monthly meeting with Directors to discuss management accounts.
Monthly inter-co recharges and balance up inter-co accounts with other group companies Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
Essential Essential Criteria Qualified Accountant Membership of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent Excellent IT and Excel skills Experience of using a financial accounting package Ability to work under pressure and deliver a varied portfolio of work with minimal supervision.
