Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior CAD Designer on a permanent basis to be located the Barrow area. (Hybrid working will be supported).

Working in the team, you have the opportunity to enhance your design skills, getting involved in the design and production of the 3D model of the whole boat primary structure
Collaborating as a team, where you can learn from others, share best practice and improve our product and design to ensure we are meeting the clients expectations Your skills and experiences:

Previous experience within a design role with a background from a high hazard industry such as Civil, Structures, Marine, Oil & Gas Environment / background
Ability to use CAD Packages, particularly FORAN, NX and / or Solidworks
Specialists in techniques, processes and tools for large scale detailed designs of platforms, assemblies, systems and equipment installation
