YOUR ROLE
  1. Daily on-site presence at customer plants and engineering centres supporting launch activities and running production.
  2. First point of contact at the plant for all technical matters.
  3. Performing quality checks and supporting supply planning.
  4. Daily close cooperation with production, engineering and product development team.
  5. Development and maintenance of a network to the customer and other partners.
  6. Main technical interface to the customer.
  7. Understand key technical customer requirements and specifications.

Additional job responsibilities:

  1. Get technical and commercial approvals on future battery applications for Henkel products.
  2. Project Management to drive projects from first design discussion to prototyping to approval to production scale-up phase and first sales.
  3. Involve internal stakeholders at Henkel, e.g. research and development team or application engineering to get support for achieving the technical customer approval.
  4. Leverage your battery expertise across the Henkel e-Mobility Team.
YOUR SKILLS
  1. Automotive and manufacturing engineering background, ideally 3-5 Years in B2B
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in manufacturing engineering or chemical engineering would be an advantage
  3. Expertise / understanding of battery components, chemistry, and designs.
  4. Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality
  5. Experience in working effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
  6. You are resident in the West Midlands (close to Wolverhampton/Birmingham) or willing to relocate.
