Hugely successful business based in Leeds currently require a Group Financial Accountant join their team. The role is for a Group Financial Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of progression opportunities available.

Reporting Directly into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables
Central finance tasks/projects e.g. vehicle leasing, utilities, Capex analysis etc.
Provide strong technical accounting input both in terms of IFRS and FRS102
To assist with quarterly external IFRS SAP reporting forming the basis of the published; audited financial statements
To support and develop reporting systems to assist local management, and to streamline and standardise reporting
Coordinating with auditors (both internal and external)
Preparation of annual statutory accounts, and assistance with external auditors
Production of financial data and reports to agreed timetables
Work with depot and commercial teams to enhance profitability of the business
To ensure that the systems operate adequately to protect the division's financial and administrative integrity
Advance and develop all procedures and systems

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

* ACCA/ACA qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
