About the role of Building Services Manager:

In the role of Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a major Data Centre project located in East London. This project will require you to handle the technical components of a current project with an M&E package worth over £50m. Your direct supervisor will be the Project Director, and you will be assisted by the Senior Building Services Manager at the project site. As the Building Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the Data Centre project in East London. Your responsibilities will include managing the technical aspects of the project, which involves an M&E package valued at more than £50m. You will have direct oversight from the Project Director and support from the Senior Building Services Manager who is on-site.

Responsibilities for Building Services Manager:

- Supervise and ensure the implementation of quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain high standards in building services.

- Take charge of managing client communication and reporting, ensuring effective and efficient coordination between the project team and the client.

- Identify potential risks and challenges that may arise during the project and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments and services involved in the project to ensure seamless integration and smooth functioning of all building services.

- Ensure the timely delivery of services in accordance with the project's scope and schedule, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.

Requirements for Building services Manager:

- Extensive experience in Data Centre operations with a focus on Electrical systems

- Demonstrated proficiency in project management

- Established history of successfully completing projects

- Skilled in overseeing and executing successful projects

- Strong background in managing projects with an Electrical focus
