Sales Development Executive

We are looking for an aspiring and highly entrepreneurial Sales Development Executive who has the desire and ambition to become a future star in our fast-growing business. Working under the direct leadership of the Managing Director, and alongside our Marketing Executive.
A critical hire, the Sales Development Executive will be become the first point of call for our clients, delivering an exemplary client experience whilst promoting our extensive range of services (Japanese Knotweed Removal, Grounds Maintenance, Gritting Services), with a clear focus on increasing revenues. Our business has grown impressively year on year since its inception and we are keen to expand further by offering a clear opportunity for someone to develop and flourish alongside our ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities- Dealing with inbound enquiries (90% of our leads are inbound)
- Generate new business opportunities, working alongside our Marketing Executive targeting commercial and residential clients.
- Close and book onsite surveys for our Environmental Surveyors and close subsequent treatment/maintenance plans
- Manage an accurate sales pipeline and create forecasts for business.
- Updating CRM system (Zoho) with all prospecting information and activities (Tasks)
- Attend face to face and virtual meetings with the Managing Director as part of an ongoing Personal Development Plan, increasing involvement along the way.
- Tenacious, hungry and with the passionate to develop personally and professionally.
- Professional telephone manner with excellent communication skills (both listening and verbal)
- Excellent written and numeracy skills
- Confident in speaking with both residential and commercial clients.
- Good at planning and maintaining relationships - a real team player.
- Planning and organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet expectations for quick turnaround times.
- Smart, articulate and highly ambitious.
- An actively entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to develop professionally.
- Engaging and with a ‘can do’ attitude (we don’t do negativity)
- Confident and outgoing personality
- A keen interest in the environmental would also be an advantage.
