What do we do? Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we're a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It's faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better. We're backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally. The role: We're looking for an AI Enablement Lead to help drive Paddle's internal adoption of AI. This role sits at the heart of our AI strategy, connecting our Agent Platform, AI Champions Network, and Enablement Programs to real business impact. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and our commercial teams to identify, prioritise, and deliver high-value AI use-cases — ensuring Paddle's teams are empowered to use AI responsibly and effectively in their day-to-day work. This is a highly cross-functional role reporting to the VP Data & AI, with a remit that spans change-management, enablement, governance, and product thinking. What you'll do: Enable AI adoption across Paddle: Build and scale an AI Champions Network — equipping champions in each department to identify use-cases, gather feedback, and share best practices. Operationalise the AI strategy: Translate Paddle's AI strategy into clear playbooks, training programmes, and success metrics. Drive enablement & training: Partner with our Learning & Development and Communications teams to design and deliver onboarding, tutorials, and workshops that raise AI literacy across the company. Manage the Agent Platform rollout: Coordinate implementation and feedback loops for our internal AI Agent Platform — working closely with our AI Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams. Governance & responsible AI: Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Data Governance to ensure all AI use-cases meet ethical and compliance standards. Measure ROI & impact: Define adoption metrics and ROI frameworks to measure how AI initiatives drive efficiency, productivity, and insight generation. Act as an internal connector: Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders — turning opportunities into tangible solutions. Champion community & communication: Build an internal community around AI — run office hours, newsletters, and demos showcasing new use-cases and success stories. We'd love to hear from you if you are: Experienced in AI enablement, strategy, or transformation — ideally in a fintech or SaaS environment. Skilled at working cross-functionally across technical and commercial teams. Familiar with enterprise AI tools (OpenAI, Dust, n8n, Sana, etc.) and agentic or LLM-driven systems. Strong in change-management, communication, and training programme design. Comfortable building governance frameworks for safe, compliant AI adoption. Excited by metrics — you think in terms of adoption, ROI, and measurable business impact. A natural storyteller who can bring others along the AI journey. Everyone is welcome at Paddle At Paddle, we're committed to removing invisible barriers, both for our customers and within our own teams. We recognise and celebrate that every Paddler is unique and we welcome every individual perspective. As an inclusive employer, we don't care if, or where, you studied, what you look like or where you're from. We're more interested in your craft, curiosity, passion for learning and what you'll add to our culture. We encourage you to apply even if you don't match every part of the job ad, especially if you're part of an underrepresented group. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to better support you through the application process and in the workplace. We will do everything we can to support any accommodations needed. We're committed to building a diverse team where everyone feels safe to be their authentic self. Let's grow together. Why you'll love working at Paddle We're a diverse, growing group of Paddlers who pride ourselves on our transparent, collaborative and respectful culture. We live and breathe our values, which are: Paddle For Others Paddle together Paddle simply We offer a full suite of benefits, including attractive salaries, stock options, unlimited holidays, enhanced parental leave, retirement plans, private healthcare and well-being initiatives. We're a 'digital-first' company, which means our Paddlers always have the freedom to choose where, when and how they work within our hub locations. We recognize that where our Paddlers do their best work is unique to them and we provide trust and autonomy for everyone to work in a way which fits them best.
