Rikama Education are working with a primary school in Dover, who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start in Term 6. This is a full-time, long-term position which is linked to the funding of the pupil. There is a chance of a permanent contract being offered. The role:

  • To work 1:1 with a pupil in KS2 with ASC
  • Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
  • Follow work set by the class teacher
  • Differentiate the class work where needed
  • Liaise with the teacher, SENCO, parents/carers
It is essential that you have:
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Experience supporting KS2 pupils
  • A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
