Job Description

Allen & York are delighted to be supporting a leading, global real estate business as they look to hire a Group Sustainability Analyst to join their Team in the UK. Reporting to the Group Sustainability Manager, you will be joining a Team of dedicated and ambitious professionals based throughout the UK, working towards their target of reducing carbon emissions to zero by 2040. The company's ESG Strategy is managed by the Group Sustainability Team and the global operations have a dotted line into this Group Function, ensuring a consistent approach to sustainability is adopted, regardless of location and the strategy is aligned to nine material SDG's.

To be considered for this key role in the business, you will have experience analysing large data sets so that you can inform reporting and disclosure and you'll be supporting the Group Sustainability Manager on a range of projects from sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD, CSRD, to Double materiality, Net Zero, annual ESG reporting and aligning projects to SBTi.

It's expected you will hold a relevant environmental degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability, together with some prior experience working within the sector and that you'll have a good understanding of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and reporting across all scopes. Your communication skills will be excellent (both written and verbal), you will be adept at using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), you'll be organised, with strong time and project management skills and be a confident presenter.

This is an incredibly broad and varied role so would suit someone who's keen to learn and develop, enjoys variety and getting involved in a range of different activities…it goes without saying that you will be adaptable, versatile and resourceful.

Based in their main London office, you will ideally be based here however for the right candidate, an arrangement could be worked out for you to combine home working with other offices in the UK. You would, however, be required to travel to the London and Bristol offices when required.
