Are you a dedicated Behaviour Mentor with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? About Us: At Qualiteach, we specialise in connecting talented individuals with fulfilling roles in the education sector. We are proud to partner with SEN schools across London, leading SEN schools renowned for their commitment to provide exceptional support to students with a mixture of abilities and needs. Position: Behaviour Mentor As a Behaviour Mentor, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with SEMH (Social and emotional mental health. Your role will involve implementing behaviour management strategies, fostering positive relationships, and supporting students in overcoming challenges to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing tailored behaviour management plans to support students with SEMH needs.
  • Building rapport and trust with students to facilitate engagement and motivation.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to help students develop coping strategies.
  • Collaborating with school staff and external professionals to deliver holistic support.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress and intervention outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and empathy in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management or counselling preferred.
