A very successful, high-profile Media Owner based in Covent Garden is looking for a Senior Event Manager to join their team of 10 and wider business of 200 to deliver a broad range of events including conferences, summits, awards, workshops and roundtables.

This company is renowned for hiring and retaining top talent, providing them with internal and external training and development, realistic and clear progression opportunities and they have a very friendly and vibrant culture.

The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 2 coordinators and the potential to manage interns.The trajectory of this role will be to take on more portfolios and then move into the 'Head of Events' position within 1-2 years.

Responsibilities will include:

· Managing 2 Event Coordinators

· Budget management, monitoring and controlling operational costs

· Supplier management, liaison and negotiation with all key suppliers and venues on both contract terms and prices to achieve the most cost-effective service

· Liaise and brief the AV team and ensure testing and rehearsals are arranged to test the hybrid delivery

· Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

· Regular client reporting and meeting

· Carrying out venue research and sourcing

· Build the event platform for the online and hybrid events· Working closely with the sales team to create and provide opportunities for exhibitors and sponsors whilst delivering client contract expectations for sponsored items

· Undertake health and safety risk assessments

· Post-event - overall responsibility for collating delegate feedback, final delegate communication and budget reconciliation

Do you have…

· 4 years of experience in an event logistics position?

· Experience managing one person or a small team?

· Experience using online platforms and live streaming technologies?

· A proactive, enthusiastic approach and can-do attitude to work?

· Strong experience in venue search and contract negotiation?

· Proven stakeholder management experience?
