. As an SEN learning support assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a pupil diagnosed with autism and challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom.
Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant.
The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant should:
Have experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or in classes.
. Have knowledge and understanding of various SEN needs
. Be flexible, patient and proactive.
. Be trained in safeguarding or have relevant experience.
. Be able to commute to work long term on time and accordingly.
NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
. Understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice.
Competitive pay based upon experience.
. Potential to go permanent.
. Comprehensive training opportunities through Prospero courses
. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years.
