Responsibilities in your new role as Maintenance Engineer
* Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, encompassing electrical control panels, 3-phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room, and furnace equipment.
* Collaborate with the manufacturing/production team to meet targets and enhance machine run times.
* Prioritise maintenance requests and execute planned preventative maintenance efficiently.
* Comprehend and contribute to plant improvement projects.
* Coordinate with on-site contractors as needed.
* Facilitate the training and development of apprentices.
* To be eligible for the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415v electrical skills, mechanical and electrical fault-finding, and repair skills. Welding or fabrication skills are also required, as well as PAT testing experience.
