The Project Manager isresponsible for the successful delivery of a project in terms ofscope, deliverables, timeline, budget, customer satisfaction andproject team satisfaction. A Level 1 Project Manager will typically bedeployed on a large scale, complex project or multiple small-scaleprojects.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the implementation of a SAPsolution at a given customer site, within the scope, time and budget(All deliverables with high quality and customer satisfaction) – i.e.Oversees overall management of the project.
As a ProgramLeader:

  • Lead the project following the aIRmethodology.
  • Prepare the detailed project plans for allproject phases.
  • Ensure that the terms of the SOW are met.
  • Establish and enforce governance for Issues Management,Change Request Management, and the Project Meeting Cadence.
  • Provide leadership by establishing processes for the internal andcustomer teams to follow for all project activities. Works closelywith the customer’s Project Management.
  • Conduct weeklyproject team and monthly/periodic Steering Committee meetings andprepare or provide support in the preparation of Steering Meetingpresentations as well as meeting minutes.
  • Lead, guide andmotivate the project team. Drive results, provide appropriate supportfor the team when needed and involve Rizing management if required.
  • Work closely with consulting/development resources forsmooth functioning of project activities.
  • Make clear theroles and responsibilities of the internal and customer project teamsand ensure output and results from both customer and consultant teams.
  • Resolve internal/customer issues without affecting theproject timelines, delivery plans, etc.
  • Reportexception/problems and concerns to the Rizing management and CustomerManagement.
  • Where required, prepare weekly progressreports and circulate as to Rizing and customer management teams.
  • Prepare monthly budget versus actual report.

Have a rational view of various situations in the project and besensitive to customer needs, bearing in mind the conflictingrequirements that a customer team would demand, and the deliverycapabilities of the project team.
• Communicate and stay in touchwith the Senior Management of the Customer Organization with regardsto the progress of the project and gain acceptance and support for therapid implementation of the project according to the terms of theSOW.
• Ensure the process of knowledge transfer to the customerteam is effective and timely.
• Perform any additional dutiescommensurate with the current role, as and when required by themanagement.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• General degree orequivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
• At least 8years prior work experience in Project Management or at least 8 yearsof SAP functional experience and industry knowledge with proven trackrecord of project management skills.
• min 6 complete projectlifecycles in a SAP Project Management capacity
• Exposure toFashion or CI in a working capacity for at least 5 yrs.
• Lateralknowledge of SAP modules would be advantageous.
• Formaltraining/certification in Project Management.
