Your new company
I am working with a great company based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. The role is looking after the UK side of the business and will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, FP&A team and various other stakeholders in the business.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the duties below.

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Assisting in preparing accounts for the audit process
  • Calculation and posting of period end accruals and pre-payments
  • Assisting with the statutory accounts process and annual audit
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Variance analysis of actual to budget to identify discrepancies
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and presenting to the Finance Manager highlighting any issues
  • Providing support/input into the annual budget setting process
  • Creating reports for entities regarding financial spend against forecasts
  • Writing supporting commentary explaining significant movements away from budget
  • Preparing board report commentaries


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience in a similar role. You will have great attention to detail and will be proactive in your approach to drive continuous improvement.
What you'll get in return
