At Longreach House, we support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the Mental Health Act. Patients may need intensive assessment and immediate intervention.

We aim to provide person-centred care in every aspect of our role and promote patient involvement in their care and treatment plans.Within the Longreach Team, we all try to listen calmly, respectfully, and patiently to others and treat everyone in a kind courteous manner. Main duties of the job

Longreach House has 3 wards, Carbis & Perran Ward are acute inpatient wards & Cove Ward is a functional older adult ward.

This exciting opportunity focuses on clinical leadership and developing and maintaining high quality care within a ward environment . The successful applicants will support and mentor learners and provide supervision to others as well as providing high levels of clinical care

Working alongside the senior staff nurses the posts enable the successful applicants to act as experienced role models and leaders to junior colleagues but also to develop leadership and managerial skills and enhance their career in mental health . We will support the successful applicant in accessing experiential learning and training .

This is a post that require a high degree of resilience , motivation and commitment and a willingness to help manage team to deliver high quality patient care through being an effective role model.
