- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with additional needs, specifically autism and hyperactivity.
- Ensure the pupil stays on task and completes planned work in line with their educational needs.
- Manage the pupil's hyperactivity with patience, understanding, and effective strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child’s learning goals are met.
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject.
- Experience working with young children with special needs, particularly autism.
- Ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to helping children succeed.
