Ensure financial reporting to Lloyd's is completed and delivered on time and desired quality level, in an effective control environment as well as producing Group SII reporting.
Support team members with technical issues and/or IFRS group deliveries as well as actively contribute to the wider finance transformation program.
Ensure production, quality assurance and delivery of required Lloyd's returns (UK GAAP and SII Basis) for Syndicate 457 and the deliveries of Syndicate 1840
Preparation and quality assurance of statutory accounts
Reporting and monitoring of investments and RI counterparty Risk.
Undertake ad hoc investigation and analysis work, as requested by management or external bodies, to agreed standards within agreed timescales
Organize and drive continuous improvement groups and projects to increase efficiencies in finance processes through standardization, simplification and automation
Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
Have experience in end-to-end finance processes, such as Finance operations, Planning, Forecasting, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting
Experience of managing and/or leading a range of accounting projects
Strong relationship management skills to influence stakeholders and senior management
Taking ownership and actively looking for personal learning and development opportunities
Highly organised, flexible and calm under pressure
An in depth knowledge of Lloyd's accounting/reporting and professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
