Grafters recruit are looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV ADR Tramping Drivers for our client based in Brentwood Essex,

Our client is in the hazardous waste management industry

As part of the team you will:

Professionally driving and operating an allocated vehicle that is assigned by the Transport department daily while ensuring an efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customer waste.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report all defects which may affect the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle or equipment immediately to the office.

Verifying that paperwork/jobs scheduled on the tablet matches the container type loaded prior to departure from site

All Duty of Care/Waste Transfer Notes are completed promptly and accurately

Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with the training given.

Ensure all loads are secure and safe and follow site safety instructions at all sites.

Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and the Company rules including reporting any unmarked hazards, near misses or accidents and wearing the correct PPE.

Initially you will need to be trained and will not be required to night out, this usually takes around 2/3 weeks and can then start tramping.

Skills & Experience Required

A full UK HGV 1 driving license

ADR required

Compliance with CPC requirements

FORS knowledge desirable

Good time management and organisational skills

A very personable 'can do' attitude

High levels of resilience and flexibility

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Commercially aware and takes pride in the quality and standard of their work

£19 ph
