Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an independent civil and structural engineering consultancy working primarily in the nuclear sector to recruit a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer for its Whitehaven, Cumbria site.

The Senior Civil and Structural Engineer role comes with a salary up to £55,000, enhanced pension and flexible working.

As the Senior Civil and Structural Engineer you will:

· Be responsible for a variety of project detailed and construction designs.

· Carry out assessment on concrete and steel structures.

· Have experience using software such as STAAD or TEDDS for analysis and design purposes.

· A degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering

· A background in Engineering design within an industrial environment

· Experience in the design AND assessment of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
