Purpose of Post: To ensure that the vehicle is road-worthy and safe before delivery to the customer Key Tasks: Inspection 1.

Drive EV, H2 and diesel vehicles during Road Tests and Shakedown Tests in a timely manner and to the Wrightbus Quality Standard 2.

Comply with the highway code at all times and operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner 3.

Assess vehicle steering and general driving condition of vehicles during Road Tests and Shakedown Tests 4.

Identify and report faults when they occur. 5.

Refuel or charge vehicles to complete the required mileage before delivery to customers. 6.

Shunt vehicles around company premises or to external approval bodies when required. 7.

Implement any customer sign-off feedback or customer market feedback on Quality issues to improve Quality for new buses leaving the factory. 8.

Other general tasks on site as needed manual / operational

EG maintenance / cleaning busses / assisting refurbishment (only on tasks that are manual and the operator is qualified for) Soft Skills 9.

Ability to use computer systems such as office and app-based software. 10.

Work alongside the managers and operators to create a teamwork environment to promote best practices for Quality 11.

Be a competent practical worker and ensure safe, efficient use of all hand tools 12.

Willing to work in any other required area and on occasion be willing to train others 13.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
