WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A Legal Operations Director responsible for the day to day operations of the Legal Department and reporting to the Senior Director of Legal Operations. The person in this role provides critical infrastructure, which enables the Legal organization to meet its business priorities. The primary functions for which this person may be responsible for include developing and managing the Document & Knowledge Management program, Communications, Technology, and Administration. Build strong working relationships with professionals within the Legal team and around the company to provide high quality, cross-functional support.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Implement and maintain the intranet strategy and Knowledge Management program, including the reuse of data, proper document management and creation of self-help tools.
  • Create processes for capturing, distributing, and effectively using legal knowledge and information, from work products to ensure efficient use of prior experience.
  • Own the Legal SharePoint and Confluence sites to ensure alignment with the Knowledge Management strategy.
  • Identifies solutions to increase overall efficiency.
  • Ensure effective change management for all program and implementations.
  • Support the Senior Director of Legal Operations in the department’s communications strategy.
  • Lead complex projects under the direction of and in collaboration with senior legal department members.
  • Develop an efficient and effective information governance program for all legal content and information.
  • Manage legal knowledge subscriptions and professional association memberships.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 8+ years experience in Legal Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess independent judgment and common sense with a moderate degree of supervisory attention.
  • Ability to quickly learn and work across a wide range of corporate functions.
  • Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage a high volume of work to meet competing deadlines.
  • Ability to interact and build trust across all levels of the company.
