Eccles Fisher Associates is looking for an organised, hard-working assistant

We are a close team, working out of a central London office, and this is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain an oversight of multiple aspects of the publishing industry, with insights into agenting, editorial, and the UK market, as well as foreign markets.

The ideal candidate will - though not necessarily - already have some publishing work experience under their belt. They will be highly organised, have an almost obsessive attention to detail, be skilled at juggling multiple administrative tasks (including diary management and book fair scheduling), have good communication and IT skills, and of course, be passionate about books. Ideally, they would have a demonstrable interest in commercial women’s fiction and YA. A foreign language would also be an asset, but is not essential.

The successful candidate would begin working with us full-time from December 1st. Please state your earliest date of availability.

As international literary scouts, we look for the best in fiction and non-fiction to be published in English, as well as in other major languages, on behalf of our international publishing clients and a film & TV company.
