Cover two community diagnostic centres in Ely and Wisbech for 3 months

Band: 7

Start: ASAP - minimum for 3 months

Cardiology - you may be required to work elsewhere within CUH facilities, determined by the needs of the organisation and the duties of the post, subject to reasonable notice.

You will be involved in all aspects of the non-invasive Cardiology Department. Ability possess the skills to perform and report transthoracic echocardiograms, physiologist led exercise treadmill tests, tests, 24 hour Holter monitors, 7 day cardiac monitors, 24 hour blood pressure monitors and 12 lead ECG’s.

Workshops and training sessions will be available for the successful candidate to maintain BSE accreditation.

The Non-Invasive Cardiology services at Addenbrooke’s include Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, CRT baseline and optimisation. The department also runs a physiologist led open access echo service. Degree in Cardiac Physiology (BSc) or Healthcare Science (BSc) specialism in Cardiology (PTP) or Master in Healthcare Science specialising in Cardiology (or equivalent experience/skills BTech, HTech Cardiac Physiology)

* Relevant experience in a wide range of non-invasive and invasive cardiology tests

* Extensive experience in transthoracic echocardiography

* Experience working in a healthcare environment, working alongside clinical and managerial staff.

* Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to liaise effectively with and provide advice to a wide range of people including senior clinical staff and managers.
