Our client offers a full range of engineering services from their network of national offices. Their success story continues and they are looking to expand their engineering services from their office in Amersham to include rail structures.

To start this off they want to make a strategic appointment of an associate structural engineer who has extensive rail structures experience. The role offers an opportunity to work on projects with Network Rail and railway contractors - and more.

You will be expected to manage your own projects and team, whilst developing your own career.

Preparation of civil and structural designs using manual calculations and relevant rail software
Liaise with clients and external agencies including Network Rail, Regional Highways Authorities and Environment Agency
Relevant degree in engineering, ideally working towards Chartership
Experience managing a team working on rail structures design
Able to evidence successful delivery of rail structures schemes
Fully conversant with Network Rail Company Standards and Railway Group Standards
