  6. Provide guidance and support to staff on issues related to student wellbeing and behaviour management.
  7. Maintain accurate records of pastoral support interventions and outcomes.
  8. Stay informed about current research, policies and best practices related to pastoral care in schools.
  9. Act as a point of contact for children, parents and staff regarding pastoral concerns.
  10. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Desirable qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience working in a pastoral care role in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in education.

The school is fully committed to the safeguarding of children, therefore all staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check by the Disclosure and Barring Service along with other relevant employement checks.

Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received and may be closed prior to the advertised date.
