RPS are seeking Logging Technicians for our United Utilities contract to deploying logging devices which will record acoustic information from the water network pipework enabling leaks to be detected.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain entry to the water industry and to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday.
We’re RPS, our projects are all around you. We define, design, and manage projects that create shared value to a complex, urbanising and resource-scarce world. You will be working outside, deploying and collecting logging devices to fittings on the water network pipework. The data you collect will be used to help locate leaks and reduce water loss for our clients.(Full training will be given).
You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
· A good standard of basic Maths and English
· Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required
· Happy working alone or as part of a team
· Full UK driving Licence
