Vehicle Detailer / Machine Polisher required in Harlow, Essex.
Our client is a specialist automotive company working with paint protection film they are actively looking to hire a skilled Vehicle Detailer / Machine Polisher for their busy site.
As a business they have contracts in place with Car Dealerships in which new “high end” cars will be delivered to the site, professionally wrapped with Automotive XPEL Paint Protection Film - PPF then collected to take onwards to the car dealerships to be presented to the customers.
This role will be fulfilling the stage prior and post PPF application initially completing a Full Decontamination Car Wash, Machine Polishing the vehicle the Quality Control at the end of the process before it leaves the site.
Details & Benefits include:
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Salary: up to £35,000 basic p.a. (depending on experience).
Contributory pension scheme.
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays.
Onsite Parking Available.
Required: Full UK Drivers Licence.To be successful in this Vehicle Detailer / Machine Polisher role you will have:
Experience completing a Full Decontamination Car Wash:
Specialist car valeting involving removing stubborn substances such as bug residue, glue, tree sap, bird mess, brake dust, iron deposits and road tar etc.
Experience of 3 Stage Machine Polishing:
One-stage: using a 1-step polish to address swirl marks and enhance gloss.
Two-stage: using separate compounding and polishing stages to address more moderate scratches.
Three-stage: uses wet-sanding, compounding and polishing to address heavy clear coat defects.
