Architect technician

An opportunity to work on heritage buildings across the North of Scotland, while enjoying the wonderful landscape and culture of the Highlands.
MAAC Studio Ltd works wholly within the heritage sector, with a varied and expanding workload that includes the repair of scheduled monuments and listed buildings to the renovation and retrofitting of traditional properties. We are looking doe someone that can combine with design flair, and an interest in conservation and traditional forms of construction to assist in the delivery of projects across the North of Scotland.
Surveying of historic buildings.
Researching place and heritage.
Gathering data for analysing building performance.
Developing proposals for the conservation and redevelopment of heritage buildings.
Experience in AutoCAD and 3D modelling preferably Sketch UP.
Full UK Driving license
An understanding of traditional building materials
