A large national FM and maintenance company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
To be based at a large site in Westminster. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established factored maintenance team working on a Continental Shift (days and nights).

Job Purpose:
In your new role as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation and safety of my client's office Mechanical systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, helping to create a secure and comfortable environment for our staff.
Summary of Responsibilities:
# Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance (Mechanical)
# Operating BMS systems
# Performing scheduled, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, and ventilation systems

We are looking for individuals with:
Key Requirements: b

Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working
Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment
Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling and working at heights
Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use a mobile device
Highly self-motivated and solutions-focused with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team
Main Responsibilities:
# Troubleshoot and diagnose Mechanical equipment and system issues, implementing effective solutions promptly
# Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
# Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies
# Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in adherence to Organization's policies
# Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response, ensuring Mechanical systems' reliability 24/7
# Adhere to strict infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3/ C&G 3 qualification (Mechanical)
Commercial maintenance experience, Full UK driving licence
