Your Role and Responsibilities As a Handyperson in our Southampton Schools FM team, you will play a vital role in delivering a customer-focused, cost-effective, and efficient maintenance service across our sites. Your daily tasks will include: Performing routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and minor repairs, including painting, decorating, carpentry, lock changes, and general repairs. Proactively reporting faults related to equipment, buildings, and fittings. Maintaining cleanliness in plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas. Working safely and adhering to Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices, and Method Statements. Completing all job packs and reports accurately and on time. You are proactive and safety-conscious, with a solid understanding of safe working practices.
