CNC Machinist required for a globally operating Engineering organisation who are a house-hold name within a number of industries.

Since their establishment over 160 years ago, they have become a household name within a number of high-profile industries including Oil & Gas and Power Generation, and now employ over 15,000 people across 180 facilities world-wide.

Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful CNC Machinist can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist will include:

Setting up and operating a Doosan Horizontal Boring machine to accurately produce large & heavy components for internal projects & orders
Working Hours of the CNC Machinist:
Day and Night shifts available:

Days: Monday to Thursday - 07:30 to 15:30 / Friday - 07:30 to 12:30
Nights: Monday to Thursday - 21:15 to 07:15
In return, the CNC Machinist will receive:

Pay Rates: PAYE: DAYS: £20.00 or UMBRELLA PAYE: £26.46 / NIGHTS: PAYE: £26.19 / UMBRELLA PAYE: £34.Overtime: Frequently available paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only)
Travel Allowance: £120 Weekly payment for individuals based over 50 miles from the Leeds facility
Assignment Duration: 6 Months - likely to be extended and potentially offered as permanent employment (but not guaranteed)
