How many times have you been sat on the sofa watching a cricket match and dreading work the next day?


Have you ever imagined using the same skills a Hedge Fund trader employs to predict the outcome, and then bet on it?


Imagine having a job that combines all of this - cricket, betting and numbers. It doesn’t really sound like work, does it.


As a junior cricket trader, you’ll have influence over the things you love – pricing and trading matches, analysing betting markets and monitoring liabilities to ensure your prices are better than your competitors.


You’ll be surrounded by experienced sport traders who will help fast track your responsibilities from booking telephone bets and solving market queries, to directly influencing cricket markets across the world.


So, with this influence, you’ll have to stay calm under pressure and have a great eye for detail.


Along with a deep knowledge of cricket, you’ll need a strong mathematical background to calculate bets and adjust to changing markets. Whilst you do not need any experience, an interest in sports trading and betting markets is key.


So, if you’re a graduate who’s just finished university and looking for your first job, or someone who wants to turn your hobbies into a career, this could be the job for you.
