Rontec is one of the leading players in the UK forecourt industry, operating 266 roadside retail forecourts across England and Wales

We take a dynamic and flexible approach to roadside retail.


As a Digital Marketing Executive at Rontec, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence. From creating compelling social media campaigns to optimising our website for maximum impact, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital strategy.


ROLE OVERVIEW

  • To develop a coherent & consistent digital marketing strategy for fuel, shop and wash activities;
  • To develop brand awareness with a special focus on EV activity;
  • To review the need for a loyalty App and its potential development especially with respect to valet activity;
  • To create an online presence across digital platforms including Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn;
  • To maintain and improve the corporate website;
  • To review and develop company data structure.


KEY ACTIVITIES

  • To research new media activities and their potential benefit to Rontec;
  • To monitor social media forums and report to senior management on content concerning Rontec;
  • To develop and evolve social media engagement;
  • To propose brand awareness campaigns as well as establishing agreed KPI’s for measuring their success in the short and longer-terms;
  • To ensure that the corporate website meets all best practice standards and requirements;
  • To advise senior management on all new digital media trends;
  • To research, recommend and, if appropriate, develop a loyalty app for all / part of Rontec sales’ activities;
  • To document fully all Rontec digital media presence;
  • To drive forward data analysis through enhanced co-ordination and integration of multiple data sources.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To ensure that the scope and scale of Rontec digital media presence is properly recorded and kept updated;
  • To ensure that, wherever possible, Rontec’s digital footprint is a positive one;
  • To ensure that Rontec accounts on all digital platforms are kept up to date and working in good and full order;
  • To assist other departments in their use of digital media in, for example, sales and recruitment;
  • To keep the corporate website available 24/7 with content updated timely & appropriately;


EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES

  • Graduate (relevant degree) preferred;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products essential;
  • Good working knowledge of CRM and data manipulation tools essential;
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to work across departments.
