Job Title: Design Assurance Engineer

Role Overview:

The Design Assurance Engineer ensures that new and existing products meet market standards. This role involves supporting product testing, troubleshooting, and the continuous improvement of testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform product functionality, performance, and reliability tests as directed.
  • Assist in developing new products by preparing prototypes.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues from field, production, or service.
  • Develop custom test equipment and software as needed.
  • Support product testing by external standards bodies, including sample preparation.
  • Assist in field trials and resolve issues locally and internationally, with occasional travel.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Responsible and professional, with strong communication skills.
  • Organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solver, with a passion for technology.
  • Knowledgeable in electronics and embedded software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • Knowledge of electronics and embedded software (e.g., C/C++/C#/Python).
  • Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Industry experience in electronic product design or testing.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of embedded design, battery-operated applications, ATEX, and GSM technology.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
