Laboratory Technician

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented laboratory technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating cutting-edge cosmetics and skin care products that resonate with our brand's vision and meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers. The Technician will report directly to the R&D Manager and will be responsible for assisting the lead chemist with making cosmetic and skin care products of various forms and ensuring quality is maintained from lab to production.


It is a full-time on-site (Maidenhead) role starting date is subject to agreement between both parties. Fixed-term contract.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the lead Chemist in making prototypes and batches for the development of skincare products.

· Conduct stability and batch tests, writing up results and reporting any issues to the lead chemist.

· Comply with company quality standards and procedures during laboratory day-to-day activities.

· Ensure laboratory workstations are kept clean and comply with company SOPs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, biology or other scientific discipline required

· Minimum 1- 2 years of experience working in a cosmetic laboratory.
