Working at our Depot in Purfleet this role is far more than just another security or driving role. With variable early starts, as part of a fixed 4 on 4 off rota you will help to ensure our goal of keeping money moving around the UK, is successful. Although you will mainly work alone, you will be part of a great and inclusive team.

What does the role entail?

As a NoteMachine Security Driver your role will involve the transportation and safe delivery of cash to our customers, replenishing their ATMs in an efficient, professional manner whilst maintaining security awareness and adhering to standard operating procedures at all times. Your role will require you to drive a company vehicle and provide cash deliveries to customers sites. You will also be required to perform first-line maintenance whilst on site and ensure that every machine is left looking clean, tidy and professional.

• You will be highly motivated, with exceptional situational awareness.
• You should be comfortable following strict standard operating procedures to make sure you keep yourself, your colleagues and the consignment safe.
• You will be committed to always providing an effective and professional security service to our customers.
• You should work effectively towards time critical windows.
• You will have good people skills and a teamwork ethos.
• You should have a flair for customer service, whilst also taking pride in representing NoteMachine to our customers and the public.
• You should have a standard manual driving Licence (category B driving licence for manual cars and light goods vehicles), preferably with no points, and no prior driving offences.

Lastly, but probably most importantly, we want to keep both you and your fellow colleagues safe, and in addition due to the sensitivity of the role and the consignments we work closely with, NoteMachine must be diligent in our recruitment process.

You therefore must:

• Be able to demonstrate and provide a checkable, ten-year history at CV stage.
• Be required to undergo a background check prior to an offer being made.
• Pass a basic DBS Check.
• Have no live CCJ’s, IVA’s or be declared bankrupt.
• You will need to be prepared to undergo searches when entering and leaving our premises and be comfortable working within a secure and confined environment.
