Commerce Strategist (Tobacco & Retail) / 1-2 month contract / On-Site or Remote


A Media Agency is looking for a Senior Commerce Strategist with 5-7 years experience. Must have worked on tobacco, and have shopper/retail credentials.


Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with a Tobacco client to delivery commerce strategy.
  • Get stuck into a brief and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver shopper marketing strategy.
  • Identify new ways to create growth through commerce.
  • Identify shopper insights across purchase journeys.
  • Understands different tactics to deploy across different retail channels – which are best to win.


Required skills:

  • Experience in promotional strategy or shopper marketing.
  • Brand strategy/creative strategy/content strategy experience.
  • Retail strategy is a must.
  • Data analysis and planning experience would be great.
  • Comfortable working with a Tobacco company.


Start date: 24th June

Duration: 1-2 months (opportunity for future contracts)

Rate: Depending on experience

Location: London occasionally, or remote if needed.
