We are currently supporting a “Good” school in Sefton who are looking to recruit a Maths teacher to cover the Autumn term initially.

Your new role
Maths Teacher – Delivering KS3 & KS4 Maths to engaged and enthusiastic pupils who are focused on learning. You will be supported by a strong SLT and a knowledgeable Head of Maths.

Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.
• Participate in meetings, training and other learning activities as required.

Qualifications
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.

Skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
