Bank - Theatre - Health Care Assistant | Boston West Hospital | Bank Hours
We are currently seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our busy Theatre. We welcome applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic Theatre based Health Care Assistants who are committed to providing excellent customer service. Good communication skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business are essential. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is also required.
The Role
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be flexible with their work patterns. The role will be varied with the successful candidate working closely with the Registered Nurses and consultants, to provide a safe and caring environment for our patients.
Where you’ll be based
Boston West Hospital is a purpose built day case Hospital which provides services for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions. A well-equipped modern theatre undertakes a range of surgical procedures and endoscopic (diagnostic) investigations.
What you’ll bring with you
NVQ level 2 or prepared to train to this level
A warm, considerate and empathetic character
The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Theatre experience
A flexible and positive attitude
Availability to work shifts during Monday – Friday.
